Founded in 1927, Salo Comtatt (sometimes called SaCo) is a large aerospace company based in Saqalona. Salo Comtatt translates to "Salo Technology" with Salo being the last name of the founder, Alxati Salo. SaCo has many business subsidiaries, creating anything from bombers and fighter planes to rocket engines and playing cards.

Born in February of 1899, Alxati Salo graduated from the University of Aldroma with a degree in Aeronautical engineering in 1922 at the age of 23, aircraft was the companies specialisation but his real passion was rocketry.

In 1936 when war broke out SaCo was contracted by the Saqalonan government to produce military aircraft for defence purposes, previously only having created civilian aircraft.

After the founding of SARA in 1946 SaCo was amongst the companies to design and produce rocket engines, long a passion of the CEO Alxati Salo, SaCo rose to the challenge.
