Cœptæ

Cœptæ is the 29th element on the periodic table (real element Copper). Named after the native Abbassidian name for Copper. It was an element used for Œtæhœra (real world Bronze).

During the first movements towards standardization, Abbassidia petitioned for key elements to be using their language's names instead - Cœptæ, Ælamæt, Œtæk. Some would, such as this. Others? For sanity's sake and our throat, no. Cœptæ is one of the few which characterize Abbassidia's unusual influence, due to it's high education infrastructure and recorded achievements crowning it the first in many regards. It was also the one that did make the chart, but don't tell anyone.
