Grammarian Civil War of 1949

The Grammarian Civil War of 1949,

also called the Songist Rebellion, was a violent civil war that started in 17, November 1949.

It all started when the former-presidential candidate, Alexei Song of Vanholda was assassinated in his own jail cell, allegedly by a Patalonian-aligned group.

His son, Joseph Song, a Socialist Extremist soon started to use his charm and power to divide the country into two main groups. The Songist Revolutionaries and the Grammarians. Within hours, the Songists in Quaker- the capital city of Grammaria, attacked three distinct embassies, amongst many others. Those being: The Freehold Tokaidan Embassy, the Patalonian Embassy, and the Toripuran Embassy. Those three embassies were immediately put into red alert as Toripuran half-tracks from a nearby IMAP base started evacuating the diplomats. Within 4 hours, riots started cropping up, trapping the Toripuran, Patalonian, Tokaidan and Grammarian forces in a small square a dozen blocks in size, creating an impromptu force named the UCF (United Coalition Forces). Whilst Toripuran armor fought to control the riots, Patalonian, Tokaidan and Grammarian forces pushed up to the north-east, where they reconnected with fragmented forces. After making a spearhead, the Toripuran armor started to pull back and pushed with the rest of the forces to an airport in the north-east, where Urukandian cargo-aircraft extracted all UCF troops and diplomats.

Soon after, UCF troops and armor encircled Joseph Song and his revolutionaries after he burnt down a city hall, killing hundreds. UCF forces had also captured Katarina Song, Joseph's sister, which aided in the ensuing negotiations.

At approximately 6:50 AM, Ivan Smith, a popular figure and Director of the SPS, stepped up to the UCF with a deal. Joseph get's handed over, and in return, a city state in Grammaria is established named City-State of Songist Grammaria however by 1950 it was starting to collapse and started to reintegrate.

30 minutes later, Joseph is seen being escorted to UCF security forces before being taken away to a UCF Tribunal, held in a confidential area in Tokaido Freehold, where his sentence is laid out. 10 years of imprisonment in Patalonia, followed up by 10 years in Tokaido Freehold, before being sent to a special region in Toripuru. Up high, in the mountains of the Ishigaki region, lies a building named 'Mors Mutual', where Joseph Song is to spend the rest of his life in.
