Cantoca was a former colony of Kutsan used to house prisoners. The prisoners eventually broke out and revolted against Kutsan with the help of the Kutkuna (a native population to the land) and successfully forced out Kutsan authority in 1794. The free prisoners and natives united and created a monarchy that would last a century before eventually being corrupted and overthrown by the people with the help of the PRU in 1932. The country was reformed into the Communist Isles of Cantoca a year later.

National Spirits
| Spirit | Notes |
| Guérilla warfare + | Cantoca is covered in dense forest. This aspect of the land has helped the nation fight off many invading forces, and the Cantocan military is trained to take advantage of this. |
| Banishment of the black hand - | Pachas decision to remove foreign mercenaries from Cantoca massively crippled its offensive capability. After the revolution, Cantoca no longer had the means to pillage neighboring nations or launching invasions. |
| Tasharkan Aid + | Tasharkan aid has dissuaded any agression towards Cantoca, and helped it bounce back quickly from its post-war ruinous state. This means that very little money must be spent on defense or rebuilding |
| Introduction of Communism +/- | In exchange for support from the PRU, pacha agrees to reform Cantoca into a communist ally. His people can only wait and see if this radical new ideology is best fit for them… |
| Governmental distrust - | The controversial decisions of the communist government after the revolution make many lose trust in the government |
| Abandoned prisons | The cantocan landscape is littered with old castles that used to house Kutsani prisoners and lawrunners. These ancient fortifications still stand tall and are used for a variety of things depending on the state of the nation |
| The Way of Selunis +\- | Most of the cantocan population believes in Selunis, a god who takes the form of the moon and manipulate the tides. This major religion influences aspects about the behaviors and spirits of its believers in many ways. |
