Kassia was a nation located on the continent of Saclun that existed from XXXX until its defeat and dissolution in 1947 at the hands of the Triumvirate Alliance. During its time, Kassia was the main dominant power in the world and its reach stretched most of Atera through either power projection or direct control.
In the years prior to the outbreak of the Great War, Kassia's empire has been slowly declining and losing its influence, Kassia would thus enter into an alliance with its historical rival and neighbour, Karlberg. Kassia would then take part in the over a decade long Great War which would end with the nuclear annihilation of the nation and its subsequent dissolution.

Today, Kassia stands divided under 5 regimes with differing goals, ideologies but one shared aspiration, the desire to reclaim the title of the sole Kassian nation. The claimants of the Kassian Mandate are as follows:

Kassia remains largely inhospitable due to the radiation caused by the nuclear attacks and is unlikely to ever recover both physically and politically from the devastation, for this reason, many consider Kassia a dead region that should be avoided.
