Near Death Experiences

Herman Leider encountered many near death experiences. In 1899 Herman was aboard a ferry with his family when the ship sank, luckily it was close to shore and everyone survived. In 1919 Herman's house caught on fire whilst he was asleep but he managed to wake up before the fire reached his bedroom. In 1933 Herman was hit by a wheel that fell off the landing gear of a Kassian passenger aircraft but managed to survive in hospital with multiple broken bones. All of his near death experiences along with his scientific acheivements are recorded in his biography "Herman Leider - Über Entwicklungen in Radiationphysik" published in 1948

Death

On June 5th 1950 Herman Leider died from tuberculosis in hospital
